The University of Liverpool

Established in 1881, The University of Liverpool is one of the oldest and largest civic universities in the UK, with nearly 15,000 full-time students. International students are an integral part of the University community, forming around 13% of the total student body. The University currently welcomes around 2,000 students from over 100 countries worldwide. The University is associated with eight Nobel Prize winners, including Sir Ronald Ross (1902), who discovered that mosquitoes spread malaria. Famous alumni include Tung Chee Hwa, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, who studied marine engineering at Liverpool.

The University of Reading is one of England’s older and larger universities. It is a cosmopolitan, residential university, with a strong emphasis on teaching and research. It was established by the University of Oxford in 1892, received its Royal Charter in 1926 and has a long history of welcoming students from around the world.

University College for the Creative Arts

The Surrey Institute is one of Europe’s largest independent colleges specialising in art, design and media communication. It has 30 programmes, from foundation diploma right through to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as short courses. There are around 3,500 students in total, including 250 international students from over 65 different countries.
